2.1 Information You Provide

Phone Number: We collect your phone number when you create an account using phone-based authentication via Firebase Authentication.
TikTok and Instagram URLs: When you submit a video URL for location extraction, we process the URL you provide.
Saved Locations and Collections: When you save locations or organize them into collections, we store that data to provide the Service.
User Preferences: Settings and preferences you configure within the app.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for authentication and push notification delivery.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we collect your device push token to deliver nudge notifications.
Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, including features used, extraction history, and app session data.

2.3 Information Processed Temporarily

Video Audio Data: When you submit a TikTok or Instagram URL, our backend temporarily downloads the video audio to extract location information. Audio files are processed in real time and deleted immediately after transcription. We do not store video or audio content.
Transcription Data: Audio is transcribed using OpenAI Whisper. Transcripts are used solely to identify location mentions and are not retained after processing.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Authenticate your identity and secure your account
Process video URLs to extract and display location information on maps
Save your locations, collections, and extraction history
Send push notifications (if enabled) based on your activity preferences
Manage credits and subscription status

Saved Locations and Collections: Retained until you delete them or close your account.
Temporary Processing Data: Audio files and transcripts are deleted immediately after processing. They are not stored.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Firebase Authentication for secure identity management
Temporary file cleanup to minimize data exposure
Server-side input validation and sanitization
